Dan (George Daniel) McLaren passed away on Saturday, September 16, 2017.

Dan was born in Eugene, Oregon on November 27, 1929.

He is survived by his wife Lois; daughter Nancy Clark; daughter Sheryl Little and husband Brian Little; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Dennis McLaren of Pilot Rock, Oregon; sisters Sandi Boren of La Grande, Oregon and Ann Bezona of Asotin, Washington.

At Dan’s request no service will be held. Donations may be made in Dan’s memory to Pioneer Humane Society at

I was so sad to hear that my good friend and co-worker passed away. He was a wonderful man and I held the highest respect for him.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Lois, Nancy, Sheryl and the rest of the family.

Well Dan it has been a long journey. Lots of great memories. Long camping trip on the Johnday river and trips to the oregon coast. We just relived on of the coast trips with you a week ago opd. All the places we loved to go to.. Happy travels Brother. Love you much. Rest in peace. Our thoughts are with Lois. Nancy. Sheri and fsmilys

Dan hired me as a Purchasing manager in 1976. I enjoyed working with him until I was transferred.
We was a fair man and a good manager. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.
