Robin “Bean” Alger 57, was born February 2, 1960 in Portland, Oregon to Ted Dernovek and Betty Lou Cox. She grew up in Portland and attended Chief Joseph Academy and later Jefferson High School. After high school she married Matt Alger. They later divorced.

She was known for her loving, caring, and very kind attitude. She chose to work where she could share these attributes with people at Columbia Manor.

She loved to do arts and crafts. She also enjoyed painting and doing puzzles.

She was a beautiful person and loved by all.

She leaves behind brothers: Dean Atlee; Steven Atlee and spouse Gabby of Beaverton, Or; Terry Atlee of Portland, Or; sisters: Barbara Dernovek and spouse Mike of Portland, Or; Teddy Dernovek and spouse Ken of Portland, Or;

Traci De Geer and spouse Douglas of Pendleton, Or; 15 nieces and nephews; 2 aunts and 2 uncles.

There will be a Celebration of life Saturday, June 17, 2017 at noon at 2919 SW Ladow Ave, Pendleton, Or.
