I would like to offer my condolences to the Cowapoo family. It is hard to come up with the right words on my feelings of this loss. I didn't know Clancy as well as most, but my memories of him are of happier times. My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Clarence Cowapoo was the first sports star I knew as a little kid--my dad took me to the PHS basketball games, and Clarence was always the leading scorer and best ballhandler. I'll always remember the skill and joy with which he played the game. He really made an impression on me. Godspeed.

I am sorry to hear about Clancey, he was one of a kind. I enjoyed the laughter of him and brother Rod. They always had a smile on their faces and a friendly hello and handshake. Rest in Peace, Kathee (Stelk) Moffett

I am a LINFIELD grad.
Clarence Cowapoo was such a worthy opponent I am deeply saddened to get this news only November 1st, 2014.
He brought me much joy watching him play basketball.

I am from Coquille and played basketball at Linfield College. I remember watching Clarence play and admired his talents on the court. I didn't know him personally, but I never forgot his name and how I was impressed by his play. I graduated in 1964 so I was in his era of life. So sorry to hear of his passing and wish his family well. From what I read from other people's writings of him, take his best traits and make them be a part of yours, then you will live your life through him. Tom Leatherwood.
