Albert Carl Hatley was born to Maude & Albert Hatley on July 25, 1928.  He was born in Pullman, Washington, where he lived for 63 years.  He worked for Washington Water Power Company for 40 years.  He retired when he was 62 years old and moved to Pendleton, Oregon, to be near his youngest daughter and family.

Albert had three daughters: Cindy Roderick, Cheryl Wildman, and Carla Shaver, and a son Scott Hatley, who preceded him in death.  He had five step-children: Ellen Hector, Greg Hector, Bret Hector, Bart Hector, and Dennis Hector who preceded him in death. He had 39 grandchildren, 40 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Albert loved to hunt and fish.  He belonged to the Moose Lodge for 50 years, and the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he held all the Chairs and Offices, and was a member of the Eagles Camper Club.  Albert enjoyed being close to two of his grandchildren and was proud of them.  Amanda for her grades and drama plays, and Cody for his great love of music and playing the guitar. Albert loved sports, in High School he was on the All State basketball team.  But most of all, he was proud of his work as an electrician and loved his work.
