Jim and I were good friends and had some very good times together. He always seemed to have a smile and a kind word. We grew apart in the later years but I will never forget him. May he ever be present with the Lord. Bill!

Jim and I became friends as Stephen Ministries folks at St Anthony Hospital in Pendleton. I live in Portland now, but the news of his passing brought back fond memories. Although we were of different faiths, we always had that feeling that God gave us work to do, and some of those assignments were not always easy. We didn't know each other personally, but we knew our prayers fit. He was so proud of his granddaughter , I believe her name was Heather, but maybe I am wrong, but none the less, he loved his God, his children and grandchildren. I am privileged to have known such a nice fellow.
