I was so sad to hear about your Mom. I have so many great memories growing up on 8th street with the Sundin family. With 10 kids in the house there was never a dull momemt and we sure had a lot of fun as kids. I hope your memories of your Mom help ease the sadness you are feeling in the coming days. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Carol & Jim Thomson

So sorry to hear that we lost Merle. I will miss seeing her at church and receiving the pat on the back and her friendly greeting. It's never easy to lose a loved one. We are thinking of you.

I am so sorry to hear of Merle's death. My prayers are with all of you and I hope that time and all of the wonderful memories of Merle will help you to get through this time. I have such fond memories of your family in the 3 homes in Pendleton! Living next door to all of you in Sherwood Heights was fun and there was always someone to play with. When you moved to the house by the hospital, and I stayed overnight, I thought the trains were coming right through the house; and boy the 8th street house was amazing; each home was bigger that the last! Merle was so organized and patient with all the kids and everyone had their chores! I remember Lorri and I wanted to go out but she had after dinner table chores and Merle told her if she wanted to go out, Lorri would have to find someone else to do the chore. Your mom was loved by many people and will truly be missed. I consider myself blessed to have known Merle and Tom. They were great parents and grandparents.
