Loretta G. Quaempts – a resident of Pendleton, Oregon passed away peacefully at her home on September 16, 2010. She was 77 years old. A Dressing Ceremony will be held on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 5:00 PM at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Pendleton. Recitation of The Holy Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday at Mrs. Quaempts's home: 7 Walla Walla Court, Pendleton, OR 97801. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:00 AM on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at St. Andrew's Mission, followed by burial at Agency Cemetery, also in Mission. A Full obituary will follow. Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements.

To my family back home, you are all in my thoughts and prayers as we send Aunt Janie home...I will never forget her and my grandma Emma talking about growing up together. They would get to laughing just remembering the Ol' Days. I will miss her dearly.

My deepest condolences to my extended family. Aunt Janie was my inspiration for getting a college education. She was alway generous with her time and gave a warm smile to all those she loved.
