Williard James Arbogast

Williard James Arbogast, 84, of Pilot Rock, Oregon, passed away May 21, 2025 in Pilot Rock. He was born April 12, 1941 in Pendleton, Oregon while his family was living in Rieth, Oregon.  Williard had no sisters and three brothers Ray, Paul and Norvel.

Williard enjoyed hunting, fishing, and horseback riding very much. He also did leathercrafting in high school. He met the woman who would become the love of his life, Margaret Elaine Kendall, and they were ultimately married for 65 years. He worked for US Gypsum for 23 years making wallboard and ceiling tiles before retiring on disability after being injured. In his retirement Williard enjoyed woodworking.

Williard was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Ray and Norvel. He is survived by his wife, Margaret, brother Paul and many nieces and nephews. Williard will be sincerely missed by all who knew him.

There will be celebration of life on June 21, 2025 at the Pilot Rock City Counsel Center from 1-3 PM.
