William "Papa Bill" Charles Baird

William Charles Baird,”Papa Bill”,87, of Pendleton, Oregon passed away Friday, June 19th. He was born in Staples, Minnesota on September 1st, 1938. He was born to his parents, Troy Charles Baird and Nettie Mae Pride. William found love with Patricia R Powell. They started dating in September 1958 and later married in May 1967. Together they have one special daughter, Kimberly Weathers, also known by her dad as, “The Kid.” William worked for the Military Department State of Oregon. He was also a First Sergeant in the National Guard, where he served for over 25 years. He enjoyed golfing, hunting, fishing, playing pool and spending time with his wife, daughter, son-in-law and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. William is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Patricia Baird, daughter, Kimberly Weathers, son-in-law, William Weathers, and three grandson's–Gunnar William Weathers, Kannan Rowdy Weathers, and Pistol Tuff Weathers. All who brought so much joy to his life and all from Pendleton, Oregon. Per his request, no services will be held.
