Veronica M. Ficenec, 84 died on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at a local care facility. She was born on January 1, 1939 in Cayuga, North Dakota to Frank Ciesynski and Hilda (Piekarski) Ciesynski. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton at 7:00 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, August 11, 2023 at St. Helen's Catholic Church in Pilot Rock at 9:00 a.m. with burial to follow at the Pilot Rock Cemetery. Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of funeral arrangements.
