Steven Lee Rhinehart

Born March 14, 1949, passed away May 28, 2024. Born to parents Forest Rhinehart Sr. and Susan (Millie) Hensley Rhinehart.

Steven spent his life in Umatilla County working as a carpenter. He showed his creativity and an artisan eye in all that he did, being a hard worker and avid outdoorsman. You could often find him in the mountains, on a road trip, hunting, or working on cars. His time spent with his best friend and sidekick brother, Bill, formed deeply cherished memories. Where you saw one, you saw the other.

Steven is survived by brother, Forest Rhinehart Jr. of Ukiah, and sister, Susan Grieb of Hermiston. Nieces and nephews, Forest III and Kim Rhinehart, Amber Rhinehart, Crystal Rhinehart, Jesse and Lisa Rhinehart, Terry Riddle, and Rhonda Cummings as well as numerous extended family members.

Steven is preceded in death by his parents, brother William (Bill) Rhinehart, brother Philip Rhinehart, and half-sister Barbara (Rhinehart) Johnson.

He will be missed by many.

Services will be held 6/7/24 10a.m. at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton
