Sandra Jean Dietz

Sandra Jean Dietz passed away Friday May 24th , 2024, in Pendleton, OR at the age of 83. Sandy was born January 21, 1941, in Cedar Grove, TN to Leslie Keele and Lucille Gregg.

She was raised with her brothers Russell, Travis, Dennis, and Sisters Marcia, and Doris. The Family settled in Pendleton in 1955. Sandy graduated from Auburn Academy in 1961. During her time there she met Sheridan Dietz, and they were married in 1961, and later divorced. They had a son Kelly.

Sandy retired at age of 72 after working 24 years at Harris Pine Mills, and 26 years with PGG, developing many lifelong friendships along the way. Sandy had 3 grandchildren who gave her 3 Great Granddaughters. She had many Nieces and Nephews and treated them all like they were her own. Family was the most important thing in her life and loved helping them anyway she could.

Sandy was proceeded in death by her Parents Leslie and Lucille, brothers Travis and Dennis. Sandy is survived by son Kelly (Chris)Dietz of Pendleton. Grandchildren Casey (Kahle, Elizabeth) Dietz Port Angeles, WA. Maggie Dietz, Boise ID. Justin (Brianna, Harper Hattie)Hansen, Hillsboro, OR.  Brother Russell (Debbie) Keele, Simi Valley, CA.  Sisters Marcia Rasmussen, Richland, WA. and Doris (Ron) Reiman, Pendleton, OR.
