Ruth E. Petersen

Ruth; “Ruth Ellen Koenig Petersen” passed away on Sunday February 13, 2022 in Christmas Valley Oregon She was born March 5 1926 to Gottfried and Elisabeth Koenig. She grew up in North Dakota on her parents Farm. She taught school in her early days before her marriage and having her family. She was a devout Christian, always reading her Bible and always a song in her heart. She was predeceased by her husband CR Petersen and her son Marvin F. Glimsdale, she leaves behind three daughters Marilynn Pearson, Peggy Tamaela, Debbie Johansen and son in law Brian Johansen, three step children, twenty grandchildren, and thirty eight great grandchildren. There will be a graveside burial for family, March 16, 2022 at 2:00pm. Lunch following service at Roosters 1515 County 1303 Rd Pendleton from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm.
