Richard Obornik Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce that Richard (Rich) Obornik, 42, of Pendleton, Oregon, passed away suddenly on April 26, 2025 in Pendleton.

He was born in Trenton, NJ in 1982 to Chris and Henry Obornik and grew up in Hamilton, NJ.

Richard was preceded in death by his father, Henry Obornik, and is survived by his mother Chris Obornik, son Logan Obornik, brother Stephan Obornik, and brother Gary Obornik and sister-in-law Amy Obornik, and his significant other Amie Martin.

Richard served in the Marine Corp as a Helicopter Airframe Mechanic. Before he moved to Oregon he worked as an auto mechanic and glass installer. In Oregon he worked for ODOT and Garret Electric.

Richard will be coming home to New Jersey to rest in peace.
