In the late 60’s while he worked at Simpson Auto Parts, he drag-raced a 1967 Dodge R/T at local drag strips in Madras and the Tri-Cities. He was proud of his wins and his trophy. LeRoy enjoyed spending his time with close friends and neighbors, caring deeply for those he spent time with. His quick wit and sense of humor were part of his charm. LeRoy was mechanically inclined and took the time to pass along his passions in life. He loved sharing what he was good at and took pride in those accomplishments.
