Pearl Eichholz Obituary

Pearl Arlene Eichholz
November 2, 1932 – February 2, 2026
Pearl Arlene Eichholz (Geier), 93, of Pendleton, Oregon, passed away peacefully on February 2, 2026, at 2:10pm, surrounded by her loving family.
Born on November 2, 1932, in Kidder County, North Dakota, Pearl grew up on the family farm alongside her twin brother Earl and younger brother Doug. She cherished the simple joys of rural life and carried those values of hard work, kindness, and faith throughout her days.
Pearl met the love of her life, Jack Eichholz, and they married in 1954. In 1956, the couple relocated to Pendleton, Oregon, where they built a life together. They both worked at Harris Pine Mills for over 30 years, until the mill ceased operations. Pearl later continued her dedication to caring for others by working as a CNA at Amber Valley Assisted Living.
A lifelong member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, Pearl's deep devotion to God shaped every aspect of her life. She and Jack shared 66 beautiful years of marriage, raising three children: daughters Julie and Tina, and son Randy. Pearl was blessed with many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren whom she adored and nurtured with unwavering love.
Pearl was known for her kind and compassionate nature, her wonderful sense of humor, and her gentle heart paired with a strong spirit. She possessed an impeccable character and the patience of a saint, especially as she helped raise and impart wisdom to her many grandchildren. In every role—as wife, mother, grandmother, friend, and caregiver—she made those around her feel special and deeply loved. She truly lived up to her name: a precious pearl, rare and one of a kind.
Pearl was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Earl and Doug, her beloved husband Jack, and many dear friends and loved ones.
She is survived by her daughters Julie Watson of Gresham and Tina Orton (Mitch) of Hermiston; son Randy Eichholz of Pendleton; grandchildren Crystal, Jenny, Eddie, Scotty, Heidi,  Misty, Jason, Andy, Randy Jr., Bryan;  her great grandchildren; and a host of extended family and friends.
In her final years, Pearl received tender care from her children, granddaughter Misty Eichholz, grandson Andy Eichholz and his partner Lori, and great-grandchildren Andrea, Arlin, and Alyssa Eichholz, who brought her great comfort and joy.
A memorial service to celebrate the lives of Pearl and Jack will be held on March 23, 2026, at the Pendleton Seventh-day Adventist Church at 1pm. They will be laid to rest together in a private ceremony with family and friends at Skyview Memorial Park.
Pearl will be greatly missed, but her legacy of love, faith, and kindness will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. Condolences may be shared through Burns Mortuary of Pendleton or online at their website.
