The family of Mary June Ryan-Parr is deeply saddened to announce her passing on April 27, 2026. Born on June 9, 1933 in Pendleton, Oregon. June had passed peacefully in her sleep. June lived a life filled with quick wit, laughter, a special generosity for others, and a deep generational appreciation for cooking. While she was always humble with a little bit of spice, she took the title of being the best cook in the world! Most of all, she spoke often of her never ending love for her family. Such kindness will never fade. A retired senior center cook of twenty-two years. June spent her years serving the tribal community and mentoring others around her. A beautiful life was lived.
June will be lovingly remembered by her Niece’s and Nephew’s; Andrea, Carla, James. Andrea’s children; Peyton, Kaeleh, Devon, Dreux. Carla’s daughter; Veronica. James son; Cedric.
June made so many friendships throughout her life with her unique personality, a heartfelt gratitude goes out to the people who are keeping her in their heart while she takes on this new journey to reunite with her loving, patient husband Art.
A Community Viewing & Blessing of June’s life will be held at the St. Andrew’s Mission Church in Pendleton, Oregon on April 29th at 10:00 a.m
