Laurie Ann Santiago

Laurie Ann Santiago was born August 13, 1968, in Fresno, California to Joe and Evelyn Rodriguez and entered into rest on November 5, 2024, surrounded by her children, Brandon and Brianna, her brothers, Roy and Joe, and sister-in-law, Anita. Laurie’s family moved from Fresno to Selma, California when Laurie was 11 years old. She graduated from Selma High School in 1986 and went on to Lyle Beauty College becoming a licensed cosmetologist for many years. In 1995, she gave birth to her first son, Brandon Michael Gonzales, followed by Brianna Michelle Gonzales (Walton) in 1998. Apart from her two children, Laurie’s great joy came when she became a grandma to her first and only grandson, Noel in 2018. Laurie was preceded in death by her parents, Joe Rodriguez Jr in May 2020, and her mother, Evelyn Rodriguez in February 2022. She is survived by her children, Brianna and Brandon, grandson, Noel, Brothers Joe and Roy, sister-in-law, Anita, nieces, Karina and Hannah, nephew, Steven, great-nephew, Remy, and a host of friends she made over the years. The family of Laurie wishes to thank the ICU staff at Providence St Mary’s Hospital in Walla Walla and the staff of Burn’s Mortuary of Pendleton for their care and concern for Laurie and the family during this difficult time. The family would also like to express their sincere gratitude for the kind words, condolences, and love received by the many friends and family.
