John Edward Burdett, Jr.

John Burdett Jr, age 72, of Pendleton, Oregon, passed away June 24th, 2025. Born on September 12th 1952 in Tacoma, Washington to John and Glenys Burdett. His siblings are Avril Nicholson, Robert Burdett, both of Pendleton, OR, David Burdett of Sorrento, BC and Thomas Burdett of North Bend, OR. A graduate of Pendleton High School in 1970, he then joined the United States Marine Corps where he served for 12 years attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. A resident of Marietta, GA for 20 plus years. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Sandra. An avid fisherman and golfer, he is survived by his sons and their families: Anthony and Jamie Burdett of Smyrna, GA Joshua Burdett of Marietta, GA and Jonathan and Sierra Burdett of Canton, GA. He also is survived by his 8 grandchildren: Leroy Mitchan III, Kaitlyn Burdett, Nathaniel Burdett, Jordyn Denslow, William Burdett, Gavin Burdett, Gemma Burdett, and Griffin Burdett and numerous nieces and nephews.
