Harold Reynolds Obituary

Harold J. Reynolds was born on March 26,1941 to William and Stella Reynolds.  Harold was the oldest of five children, Virgil Reynolds, Elaine Dulaney (Ronald), Paul McCarty (Claudia), and Donald McCarty.

Following visits from his family members Harold passed peacefully at home early Thanksgiving morning.   Harold was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Virgil Reynolds.

Harold is survived by wife Dixie of 59 years, daughters Sandra Johnston (Randy), Karen Hoeft (Mike); three grandchildren, Travis Johnston (Alli), Lacey Wunsch (Chad), Laura Rhodes (Jake) and six great grandchildren.

Harold worked as a lineman for Columbia Power Co-op in Monument, Oregon for 39 years.  Following his retirement, he and Dixie moved to Pendleton where they enjoyed spending time with their children and grandchildren.

Harold enjoyed woodworking and spent many hours in his shop making projects for family and friends. He made over 75 lamps that he shared with family and friends and was pleased to say that they were scattered throughout seven states.

Harold requested no service.  Arrangements are made by Burns Mortuary of Pendleton.

The family would like to thank the people from hospice for the compassionate care Harold received, allowing him to remain in his home, and request that any memorial donations be made to Vange John Memorial Hospice, 645 W. Orchard Avenue, Suite 300, Hermiston, Oregon 97838.
