Georgianna Susan Overstreet

Georgianna Susan Overstreet, 86 died on Wednesday, June 21, 2023 surrounded by family after battling cancer.  Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2023 at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton at 7:00 p.m.  Memorial Mass will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023 at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 10:00 a.m.

Mrs. Overstreet was born on December 21, 1936 in Detroit, Michigan to Martha Kendall and Robert Wade.  She was raised by her Step-Father, Bert Walters.  In 1953 she married Norman Overstreet in Carson City, Nevada.  In 1971 they moved to Pendleton, she turned her hobby into an occupation and opened Georgianna's Antiques in downtown Pendleton.  She was an active member of the Catholic Church and continued her hobby of collecting well into her retirement.

She is survived by her children; Cynthia Overstreet of Rainier, Wa., Charles Overstreet of Pendleton, Or., William Overstreet of Bend, Or.  Five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two sisters.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to Hospice of Walla Walla or St. Mary's Catholic Church of Pendleton.
