George Emerson Ness

George Emerson Ness, 73 of Pendleton died on Sunday, December 10, 2023 at a local care facility.  He was born on October 5, 1950 to Carl Christopher Ness and Erma Lora (Blank) Ness in Kent, Washington.  He went to school in Hermiston, Umatilla and Pendleton.

George worked for the railroad, also was a roofer and a fisherman on the Florida coast.  He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping.

He is survived by his children: Brian Carsten, Jaycen Ness, Craig Ness and Kent Ness. His siblings: Trudy Poulson, Lavene Canty, Edna Hoefner, Christie Elder, Rosalie Conner and Marion Ness. Ten Grandchildren and twenty-three nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; Carl & Erma Ness; daughter, Nikie Lee Ness; Sisters, Pat Dagley and Ann Conner; brothers, Carl Ness & Matt Ness.
