Don and family, am truly sorry for your loss, Jan is no longer in pain and in the hands of our Lord, Jan always had a smile and  a friendly greeting for me when would see her. Remember when my kids were in school how helpful she was to me, I could go to the school and she always had time to see me and give me advice.

Jan was truly a saint that will be sorely missed by all that new her.  She was kind, and loving, and always up for a good laugh or to listen to a broken heart.  Her spirit will live on with all of us that had the pleasure of knowing her.

My thoughts and prayers are with her family.  She was such a wonderful person.  Having her as a counselor and cheer adviser was such an important part of high   school.  She always made me feel special.  She was the most caring woman I've ever met.

Don & Jan are the best neighbors I have ever had the privilege of having in my life.  I have missed the flowers that Jan used to take great care and pride in for a very long time.  And now I miss her sweet smile.  I am very grateful that I was able to spend so much time with you both in the last few months.  Especially grateful that I was able to spend time with Jan on her last day on this earth.  I know we all take comfort in knowing that she is now in the presence of her Lord & Saviour, Jesus Christ.  Still praying for all of Jan's family who loved her so much.  She was a kind and gentle woman, a true lady.  God bless!

Mrs.Bensel was always a friend as well as a teacher.  I still remember some of the things I learned in her English class.  I was never a stellar student and that didn't matter to her.  She always helped when and where she could.  In high school she was always willing listen and help out anyway she could.  I will miss her sweet spirit forever

To the Bensel Family,
So sorry you're going through loss.  I have recently experienced loss as well, and we go on through the pain.  There is much joy as well, since those lives Jan touched will reach out and let you know she made a difference.  The thing I will remember most about Jan is her awesome smile.  You could be having the worst day ever, and she would always have that smile for you.  God's Blessing to all of you.  Karen and family.

Where does one start when the loss is so profound? Yes, Jan is in a much better place, we know that. Don, you were her rock!  I can say Jan and you both touched my life. Jan, during my high school years was a big part of it! Her tiny office always had room for one more. She had a huge heart and I treasure my memories of her and of Don who took care of this beautiful woman. Lots of prayers to the family.
