GRANDMOTHER'S GARDEN REMEMBERED was sent by Chandra Hampson.

From Hawaii, D.C. and down the river in Portland our love is with you, across the ocean, over the mountains and through time, we are with you. Our hearts are broken. Our memories of her are strong. Her warmth, kindness, wit and resilience were unmatched. She could light a room with that smile and laugh. To be beside her was to feel at home. She fought a good strong fight. May the tears wash away your pain and the songs bring you peace, peace that is now hers forever. We hold you close. Colin, Chandra, Tom and Woesha

Our condolences reach out to the Farrow Family.  We will carry fond memories of her, and she is the one who made it all happen for me regarding my future (college).  Sorry we cannot make it to her services due to road conditions... But our thoughts and prayers will remain with the family always.

Lou you were such an amazing & caring person, no matter what the age.
You help my son get comfortable into a new school when we first moved back to the reservation and also always busy with the student activities at NCS, we will be forever grateful for that. We will miss you and our deepest condolence to the ones left behind.

Nephew heartfelt prayers go out to you.. you are special to me for the recognition you give me. May the Creator surround you with His love, protection, guidance and strength to look ahead. You have memories to keep your loved ones close; you have a son who adores you and you have to be strong for him. She has been in my prayers for some time now as you know we were closely related through my Father Grant. I am here if you need to talk or just have someone to lean on. My love and prayers.

Our thoughts fondly reflect on Lou as we grew to know and care for her over the past year or so here at Vibra. She was a friendly, considerate and thoughtful  woman with a fun and spunky personality and it was a pleaseure getting to know her and care for her. She is missed!

The Oregon Indian Education community took another big hit with the passing of Lou Farrow on December 3.  Due to the bad road conditions in the gorge, we were unable to attend her services.  We visited with her at OHSU and Vibra when she was in Portland.  We are happy she got her wish to return home before she walked on.  Her family, tribe, community, and education lost a pillar who will be greatly missed by all.
