He was a rock. I loved his consistency, passion, and internal strength. I admired his wisdom and determination.  A great man with a great family.  He was my teacher, a coworker and someone I looked up to. Tim and Andy (and the entire Cary family), I''m sorry for your loss - but I know that you have many happy memories of this fine man ...

In 1997 at the young age of 49 I interned in Steve''s 8th grade classroom while working on my teaching degree from Eastern Oregon University.  Steve was an excellent mentor and advisor and was always there with praise when I did well and honest advice and suggestions when things did not go as well as they should.  He was unsparing of his time and counseling through my entire internship and gave me the confidence that I needed.

Godspeed Steve Cary.

Bev - I was sorry to hear of Steve''s passing earlier this week.  I send my condolences and sincere sympathy.

I have fond memories of and high respect for Steve.  It was my priviledge to have known him since our grade school days at Sherwood school in the late 1950''s. We were friends and classmates through high school.

As you grieve and adjust to life without Steve in the days ahead, please know you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.  May God grant you His peace and comfort.

Hi, Bev, I'm sorry to hear of Steve's passing. My condolences to you and your family. I think my mother and his mother were in the baby unit at the hosp. at the same time, as I too was born on the 10th. I seem to remember my mom telling me this. My thoughts and prayers are with you. tom
