If tears could build a stairway and memories were a lane, We would walk all the way to Heaven, to bring you home again No farewell words were spoken, no time to say good-bye You were gone before we knew it, and only God knows why Our hearts ache in sadness, and secret tears will flow What is meant to lose you, no one will ever know

I remember first meeting Alma many years ago when she worked in the Housewares Department....back when Pendleton still had a Bon Marche store. She was always so friendly and helpful, and would chat with my mom Carol and me. Years later it was so good to reconnect with Alma at the Eagles Lodge....she still had that same smile! Sending thoughts of comfort to her family at this time. Sincerely, Susan Enbysk

I've been so out of touch I didn't know Alma had passed on.  After Mom & Dad died I haven't heard much news from family.  Alma was always there for me, even when I acted like an ungrateful little wretch at times.  Lately I have thought of her often, and wondered how Mike and everyone was doing.  I am so sorry to hear of your loss, even two years later.  I know she is with the angels now.
