Dale Thomas Ingle 91, of Hermiston, Or passed away at a facility in Hermiston on March 14, 2018. He was born September 28, 1926 in Mount Vernon, Oregon to Benton George Ingle and Ida Bell (Premo) Ingle. He grew up on a cattle ranch near Mt. Vernon. He attended school in Mt. Vernon. 

As a teenager he decided to join the Navy but was not old enough to enlist. His mother had to sign a paper to make him eligible. He was a Seabees for the Navy. He served in World War II in the South Pacific Islands. He recieved two medals: A Pacific Campaign Medal and a World War II Victory Medal.

He worked for Blue Mt Mills in John Day, OR, Harris Pine Mills in Pendleton, OR, and his last employement before he retired was Rainbow Fasteners in Sacremento, CA. He was responsible for all of the shipping at these jobs. 

He was the past President of the Fraternal Order of Eagles, a Life Member of VFW, and a Main Street Cowboy all in Pendleton, OR. 

Although he was very active in community activites and organizations his number one priority was his family. He loved to spend time with them. He was especially close with his niece Gloria Whale. He was known for his generousity, loyalty, and honesty.

He is survived by his son John (Lori) Ingle of Hermiston, OR; daughter Teresa Lynn Biggs of Hines, OR; eight grandchildren: Janette, Kelly, Jamie, Jasen, Justen, Jerico, Paula, and Nichole; and nine great grandchildren.
