Ida Martina Wilson 43, passed away at her home in Pendleton on Friday August 11, 2017. She was born June 24, 1974 in Pendleton, Or to Leland and Cheryl Wilson. She is survived by her siblings: Esther Huesties of Pendleton, Oregon; Leland Wilson JR; Levi Wilson and Rechelle Sue Wilson of Pendleton, Oregon and her son Ben Dave JR of Pendleton.

She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents George and Ida Patrick and maternal great grandparents Ike and Ada Patrick. Surviving her are paternal grandmother Elizabeth Henry, Nieces Diamond and Gladys Wilson and nephew George Wilson of Astoria and Althea Huesties of Pendleton, Oregon. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho.

Ida graduated in 1992 from Madison High School in Portland, Oregon. She moved home and worked many years at Wildhorse Casino as a Table Games Dealer and worked at Mission Market.

She loved joking, laughing, and being around family and friends and she especially loved being around her son Ben.

The Dressing Ceremony was held Tuesday August 15, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton. Washat Service was held at the Longhouse on Tuesday August 15, 2017 at 7:00 pm. Last Seven Songs was held August 16, 2017 at the Longhouse at 7:00 am. Interment is at Tutuilla Cemetery. Dr. Ronald Pond and Armand Minthorn officiated the services.

Prayers my family. Our now elder will be deeply missed in the community; her beautiful smile, laughter and hugs but the wonderful memories will carry.

My friends and I that knew Ida when she was in Middle School are shocked and sad to hear of her passing. Ida was such a character;; kept us all on our toes and we loved her for her spirtited soul.
