Leonard Bullock, 77 of Pendleton, Oregon passed away on April 1, 2017.  Leonard was born on December 20, 1939 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Viola (Blanton) and Jessie Bullock. He grew up moving around the country with his four brothers and one sister.  They eventually settled in Pendleton in 1955.  Leonard worked for Simplot as a forklift operator for many years in Hermiston and also spent a lot of his working years as a handy man.  He was a Main Street Cowboy. He had a passion for animals, having 4 dogs at the time he passed.  He also loved old cars, gardening and any yard work.  Leonard was a long time member of the Bethel Assembly of God and spent many years as a bell ringer for the Salvation Army during the Holiday Season. 


Leonard is preceded in death by his parents, brothers; Floyd Bullock and Mac Bullock, and son; Sandy Williams.  He is survived by his wife of 17 years; Dorothy (Lambert) Bullock, brothers; James Bullock, John Bullock, sister; Lavern Crum, children; Candy (Jeff) Hanson and James (Letha) Williams, multiple grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. 


A public visitation at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton, Friday April 7th 3-7PM, Funeral Service at Bethel Assembly of God on Saturday April 8th at 2PM.  Leonard Bullock will be laid to rest at Olney Cemetery.

So saddened to hear of Leonard's passing. He is with the Lord now, and how joyous that must be for him! Prayers of comfort to his family and friends, in this difficult time. Leonard had such a sweet spirit, and we will miss him.
