She was born January 27, 1954 in Pendleton, OR to Warren Shepherd and Dolores (Allen) Shepherd. She was one of three children, all girls. She grew up in Milton-Freewater, OR for a short time then moved to Athena, Oregon. She graduated from McEwen High School in Athena, Oregon.  She had two children.

Faye lived and worked around the Athena/Pendleton area her whole life. In her younger years she kept many foster children and cared for them deeply, keeping touch with most for the rest of her life. She then went on to work at the Oregon State Hospital and Wildhorse Casino for several years each, making lifelong friends at both. After those two, she became a home care provider and spent countless hours helping her clients be comfortable and to stay in good health.

She was a member of both the Adam’s Community Church and Pendleton Eagle’s Lodge.

Faye loved the holidays. Her garage was always full of decorations just waiting to be put up for every single one, especially Christmas.  She liked going out with her friends and family, spending time with them and just enjoying their company. At home she and her daughter were constantly in the kitchen, baking and cooking and trying new recipes. She enjoyed relaxing around the house, watching her favorite TV shows and listening to country music. She had several dogs and cats over the years and loved each and every one of them as if they were her own babies.

She was preceded in death by her father Warren Shepherd, mother Dolores Shepherd, & many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her two children, Travis and Tonya Lambert both of Athena, OR and by her two sisters, Gloria Skeman (Richard) of Pendleton, OR and Ann Stanley of Hermiston, OR Survived by her nieces Lisa Hotchkiss (Wayne) and Tylene Hill, nephews Shawn Simonsen (Carrie), Jake Stanley (Ashlie).
