Floyd Lee Wilson - a resident of Pilot Rock, Oregon, died Saturday, June 6, 2015, in the mountains.  He was 88 years old.

Floyd was born May 18, 1927, to Delbert and Marion (Hascall) Wilson in Pendleton, Oregon.  He had two brothers and a sister.  On May 3, 1952, he married Dora Lee Eldridge in Pendleton. They celebrated 63 years of marriage.  The couple moved to Pilot Rock in 1977.  Floyd worked very hard as a cattle rancher and a wheat rancher.  
He loved the mountains, riding horses, ranching & farming, and his dog garth.  Floyd was a very hardworking man with very strong moral values.  
He is survived by: his wife Dora, at the home in Pilot Rock, OR, sons: David L. Wilson of Springdale, WA, Norvell H. Wilson of Levelland, TX, Delbert F. Wilson of Pilot Rock, OR, Kyle L. Wilson of Helix, OR, and Robert W. Wilson of Pilot Rock, OR, a sister Delores G. Casey of Meza, AZ, multiple grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  
He was preceded in death by his two brothers Fred S. Wilson and Robert N. Wilson.

So sorry to hear about Floyd. Always liked and enjoyed talking with him. Saw him in Walmart a couple weeks ago sitting down taking a break. I was in a hurry as usual and didn't take the time to sit and visit for a few minutes, sure wish I had now. Never know when you may not have another opportunity. We are so sad to hear that Floyd has passed away, I know that him and daddy are in heaven together now watching over all of us, they loved each other so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family, The Rhodes and The Ruth families
