Patricia L. (Addleman) Bledsoe

December 6, 1930 – September 29, 2014

Pat was born on December 6, 1930, in Pendleton. She married the love of her life, Johnny Bledsoe, who affectionately called her Trishy, on March 18, 1950. Together, they enjoyed raising and riding horses, RVing, boating and snowmobiling. They also loved spending time with their grandchildren, gardening and watching “All My Children” during lunch breaks. They were active members of the Pendleton community.

She worked in various professions throughout her life including as a nurse’s aide, bookkeeper at Cascade Natural Gas, PGG, EOH and TC and BPOE #288 and as a Umatilla County deputy sheriff. She retired from her own business as a legal processor in 1995. Pat moved to Portland in 2001 to be near her daughter and grandchildren, but always longed to return home to Pendleton.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Violet Addleman, her brother Ernie, her beloved husband John Bledsoe, her son Ron and her dog Pepper.

She is survived by her daughter Sandy and her partner Cynthia, her son Steven and daughter Glenda, her beloved grandchildren Karen, DeAnna, Andrea, Sarah, Tom and Robyn, nine great-grandchildren, and her dog Lily.

Pat passed away peacefully with her daughter Sandy and Cynthia by her side. A graveside service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday October 4, 2014 at Olney Cemetery in Pendleton.

In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the ASPCA or First United Methodist Church, 352 S.E. Second St., Pendleton, OR 97801.
