Jeannine was born September 15, 1931, in Oberlin, Kansas, to Hugo and Kathryn Pollnow; she was half of a pair along with her twin Jeannette.  They were raised on a farm in Oberlin, attended schools there and graduated from Oberlin High School with the class of 1950.  She moved to Oregon in 1955 for her former husband’s job.  She had lived in Coos Bay, OR, The Dalles, OR, and Pasco, WA, before moving to Hermiston with David in 1991.  She had worked as a telephone operator and a business owner, as well as a dispatcher.  Jeannine was a vibrant, loving mother, wife and friend to many.  We will miss her beautiful blue eyes, her sense of humor, laughter and zest for life.  She loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, camping and water skiing.
