I first met Virgil and his wife Helen shortly after they came to Helix. And when I returned in 2005, I purchased a home next door to him. Virgil was a good friend and a great neighbor. I enjoyed our talks when he would come over for a cup of coffee, or if I went over to see him. I was saddened when he had to leave Helix, but we still chatted on the phone. Virgil had a way of expressing himself so that there was no misunderstanding what he was saying. My son Ron, who started working with Virgil in the fire department also expressed his sorrow at Virgil's passing. I know he missed his wife very much, but now they are together again. God bless you Virgil.
