We extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Ewald and Merlene Warneking. We have many fond memories of gatherings in the Portland, OR vicinity in the late 1970's. Merlene was a devoted wife and mother and we have many happy memories of our camping trips and as guests in their Pendleton home. Thank you for the times we shared together.

Having had Christ as her righteousness, all that was mortal was swallowed up by the power of the life she possessed in Him. For we know that if the earthly tent which is our house is torn down, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. My deepest heartfelt sympathy to Oscar and all the family. Merlene was a living fragrance of what a christian woman really is and I will never forget her.
