Barbara J. White, a resident of Pendleton, died Friday, October 29, 2010 at her home in Pendleton. She was 55 years old. A celebration of life gathering will be held at a later date. Mrs. White was born March 16, 1955 in Wallace, Idaho. She was the daughter of Charles and Joanne Nicklebye Pollard. She was raised in Silvervalley, Idaho and attended schools at Kellogg High School. She graduated from Kellogg High school in 1973. She had lived in Kellogg and Pinehurst, Idaho before coming to Pendleton in 1979. She married David A. White May 18, 1979 in Helix, Oregon. She had worked as a server and waitress at the and the Circle S Barbecue from 1979 until 2004. She had most recently worked at the Shari's Restaurant from 2005 until 2010. She greatly enjoyed playing with her granddaughters, swimming scuba diving and being with her family. She is survived by her husband, David A. White of Pendleton, her father, Charles Pollard Sr. of Pinehurst, Idaho, a son, Scotty Pollard of Pendleton, a daughter, Misty Pollard of Pendleton; two brothers, Charles Pollard Jr. of Elko, Nevada and Jerry Pollard of Columbia, South Carolina; three sisters, Donna Pollard of Pinehurst, Idaho, Lori Goode of Post Falls, Idaho and Robin Emmette of Virginia, Two grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by Her mother, Joanne Pollard.
