Lloyd Lewellen Brown - Passed away in his home on October 7, 2010. He was 83. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, October 15, 2010 at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Pendleton, Oregon. Sign the online guestbook at www.burnsmortuary.com Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements. Lloyd was born on December 25, 1926 in Salem, Oregon. He spent his early childhood on a farm in Corvallis where he attended school. In 1948, Lloyd was inducted into the United States Army. Lloyd moved to Pendleton in 1966. Between 1984 and 1993 he lived in various places around Oregon returning to Pendleton until his death. His unique personality and wonderful mannerisms made quite an impression on everyone he met and gained him many friends and unforgettable memories. Lloyd had strong opinions about many things and you could always count on him to tell you like it is. Lloyd enjoyed cowboys and cops. He was a great fan of the Pendleton Round-Up and couldn't wait for "the main rodeo." He had a very good memory and was fond of sharing stories about his childhood. He loved to have his Bible with him and loved to sing. Lloyd also enjoyed dressing up in his uniform and attended the "Bombs away Ball." He was preceded in death by his parents and brother. He is survived by one brother who lives in a neighboring state.

Hey Lloyd, I love you and you will always be a part of my soul. So glad I could be a nurse for you in whites at Halloween one year because then you were sure I was a "real nurse". Your smile will forever remain in my memory. I will see you someday in the big hunting grounds in the sky and we will again laugh together. Kisses, Nurse Candy

Lloyd was a funny guy, i loved how he sang jiggle bells at christmas, and would give you a kiss on your cheek. and how much fun he was to play scatagories with. He will be missed, he deffinately had a place in my heart.
