Lorna Faye Roach 79, resident of Pendleton passed away Friday December 7, 2018 at a Portland Hospital. She was born July 10, 1939.

Lorna Faye Roach, passed away at a Portland Hospital on Friday December 7, 2018. Lorna was born July 10, 1939 to Lawrence and Bertha Readle. She grew up in Yakima and Pendleton, she attended Pendleton High School. She married Arlie Roach and had three children, Dan Roach (Karen) of Amboy, Washington, Mickey Sims (Glynn) of Pendleton, and Shawn Roach of Pendleton. She loved working on puzzles, crosswords and riding horses. She enjoyed spending her time with her children and her grandchildren. She worked as a dispatcher for the local cab company and as a senior companion. She was a member of the Eagles and Pendleton Senior Center and helped by volunteering at PAWS. Lorna was preceded in death by her parents, husband and nephew Steven Wegner. She is survived by her children Dan Roach, Mickey Sims, and Shawn Roach. And her nine grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday December 13, 2018 from 111:00am to 5:00pm and Friday December 14, 2018 8:00am to 11:00am at Burns Mortuary of Pendleton. Graveside Services will be Friday December 14, 2018 at 2:00 at Echo Cemetery Echo, Oregon. Following the service there will be a luncheon at the Eagles in Pendleton, Oregon. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her memory to the family to help offset cost of services In care of Burns Mortuary, PO Box 489, Pendleton, Oregon 97801. Aunt Lorna was a loving and caring person that loved life. She had good advice for her kids and grandkids. My kids will miss her and loved her. Love thoughts and prayers for her family. Including my kids Steven Wegner and Madison Wegner.

This is a very sad time for everyone who had the privilege of knowing Lorna. My heart goes out to Mickey, Shawn and Danny as i know they are hurting deeply. Lorna was like another mother to me and she will be missed every day. May she run like the wind.
