Tamara Sue (Thompson) Hascall passed away peacefully at home on November 28th, 2018, surrounded by her family. Tamara was born January 25, 1960 to Charles and Genevieve Thompson in Pendleton, Oregon. After graduating high school, Tamara attended Blue Mountain Community College, studying Business. She married Allan Hascall on July 3, 1981 and they had 2 children. Tamara was a devoted mother and homemaker. She liked cooking, sewing, crafting and home canning. She was an outstanding cook and worked in the food service industry after her children were grown. Tamara enjoyed being outdoors in the mountains and at the beach. She also loved spending time with the family on hunting, fishing and camping trips. Weekends at Phillips Reservoir, Sumpter, and the Oregon coast were common trips for the family. Tamara was preceded in death by her parents and older sister Deborah. She is survived by her husband Allan, sons Jeremy and Patrick Hascall all of Pilot Rock, brother Clinton Thompson of Umatilla, aunts, uncles, nieces and 5 beautiful grandchildren. Tamara was always the adoring grandparent and delighted in being with her grandchildren. A public viewing will be at Burns Mortuary from 8 am to noon on December 8. A celebration of life and potluck luncheon will be held December 8 starting at noon at the Pilot Rock Community Center.
