Paul Ivan Hepworth - 46 a resident of College Place, Washington, died suddenly on Wednesday, August 4, 2010 near Meacham, Oregon. Per his request, no service will be held. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Paul may be made to the American Heart Association. Paul was born on April 19, 1964 in Evanston, Illinois to Samuel and Helen Virginia "Ginny" Glover Hepworth. When Paul was 2 years old, the family moved to Whitehall, Michigan. He was raised in Whitehall, and graduated from Whitehall High School in 1983. In the early 1990's Paul moved to Great Falls, Montana, where he owned and operated Hepworth's Fix-it and Repair for several years. In 2001, he moved to Walla Walla, Washington, he had also lived in Dayton, WA, and College Place, WA. While in this area, he attended Walla Walla Community College Commercial Truck Driving program. He went on to attain his Washington State Commercial Truck Drivers License. Paul had always wanted to drive truck. He was employed by Harms Pacific Transport based out of Pasco, Washington as a Long-haul Driver. Paul loved hunting. He also had a passion for being on the road. He was never happier than when he was behind the wheel, out on the open highway. Mr. Hepworth is survived by three brothers; Billy Hepworth, Curtis Hepworth and Scott Hepworth, two sisters; Emma Jane "Janie" Hendrickson and Linda Stoel, as well as a host of family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Anna Mae Owsley.
