To the family of Mrs. Stanhope,
I'm so sorry to hear of Mrs. Stanhope's passing. She was one of my favorite teachers in junior high and I have always remembered her with fondness. She was kind and positive, an excellent teacher who saw each student as an individual, and who used humor and good will to get the best from her students. She made a positive difference in my life, and for that I am very grateful.

Sorry to hear about Nadine. Not only did she teach all of us to type in the 8th grade but was a great friend to our parents Doc and Jane Whitford. Many a Pepsi was consumed with her at the house. I caught some fish in the pond past Mt Hebron which was lots of fun. Mother had one of Kens kittens-the ones Nadine didn’t like! Mom died in 2008 and Father in 2010 so she’s one of the last of that generation. She will be missed. Dee, Mac, and Rob Whitford

Dear Stanhope family,
What a joy to go to typing class and be greeted with a huge smile given to all her students. As much as I hate to admit this, she passed me, but I was never a great typist. I so wanted to type fade, but it wasn’t in the cards. Those huge, clunky Royals! My little fingers needed more strength to pound the least that was my excuse.
I will always remember your mother as beautiful woman. We always seem to really know the impact of a person in our lives once we know they are not here with us. You were blessed to have her as a mother.
Take peace in your hearts knowing that she has began her eternal life that never sends and I hope to see her again one day.
God bless you all.
