We are first cousins , sorry to say we did not get to visit more as we live in Pensacola, Fl. However, I always admired what she accomplished and our love pours out to the family. God bless you all.  Gone but not forgotten. Love, Bob and Mary Jo.

The Bates family extends it's sincere condolences to Jeans family.  Our Dad was one of Jean's table mates at McKay Creek Estates.  He enjoyed their visits at meal time and bingo as well.  They had both worked for the Employment  service and had stories to share.  Debbie had served on the Credit Union board and enjoyed visiting.  I (Ron) enjoyed teasing Jean and making her blush.  Dad had a great story about Jean,  he said once at dinner she spilled a little something on her blouse and before she knew it she blurted out, Damn it! Everybody at the table had a chuckle... Dad shared that story with me and so I made sure I teased her about her "potty mouth"  ...she always blushed.  Marge had dinner Friday nights at McKay had many nice visits with Jean as well.
Jean was a proud lady , always dressed for the day. We all enjoyed her company.
May your memories bring you comfort..
