John was a very dear and true friend.  We have spent lots of time traveling with John, from traveling to  Spain to visit his family, to Jaladai in Boise, to Elko & Winamucca and just camping and fishing.  Where ever we went with John we always had a good time and enjoyed his company.  We remember the times at Roundup and Caldona days, but especially we just remember John as a good friend to share a dinner, a BBQ or a Super bowl party.  We will miss him terribly.

John was one of the best neighbors I've ever had. He always had a ready joke and a smile when we were both out in our yards. I loved sitting with him at the picnic table sparing with him. I can't imagine looking over in the large garden and not seeing him out there weeding, or him mowing the grass in those funny water shoes he always wore. While I no longer live next door I still have the house and he made sure the grass was kept mowed and watered. He was a good and kind man, and I am so glad I was fortunate enough to have him not only as my next door neighbor but most importantly my friend. God speed, John, until the next time we meet, you will be missed.

We are so sorry to hear about John.  He was one of the nicest men we have had the pleasure to know.  I have some great photo's and memories of our trip to Spain and so happy to have met his family.  We just wish we could have seen more of him these past few years.  Much love to his family and our best wishes for you all.
