Prayers for the family left behind. Alvin and I went to St. Andrews school, classmates. He always had a smile and when I returned to the Rez in 1974 we became friends again. When he worked at TERF we would tease each other because I was always alone dumping my garbage ... he would ask me "where are the men in your home?... you are looking at the last of the good looking Walla Walla and he would smile big and we had good laugh. I hadn't seen him in a while ... sorry he has gone ahead of us but he will always be looking down at us.

My prayers for family as I recall how my dad, Buddy, told stories of Aunt Angela, and other McBean relatives, of their fun as youth, in and out of school, on the rez and up the river. Their lives formed the foundation for ours.

AL

Your good nature and willing smile will be the things that I never will forget about you. My condolences go out to Al's family during this time of loss. He was a good man who I'm happy to have gotten to know as part of the development of CTUIR Solid Waste Management TERF operations.

Stan
