Julie was a very special part of our family. She had a loving heart, was very loyal and always generous, she was super creative and a talented seamstress and cook. Her love for animals lead to a lifelong learning journey with her many dogs (of various breeds both large and small). She was a successful dog showman and trainer and generously helped others with their dogs. She loved working with children and their dogs and took great pride in their achievements.

I have so many wonderful memories of Julie from our years growing up together. I considered her one of my closest childhood friends. She will be missed. My heart goes out to her family as they deal with this unexpected loss, a life gone too soon.

To Mel, Marly and Glen
I am at a loss to for words to tell you how sorry I am for the passing of Julie. This was so sudden and a hard time for your family. Julie has been a good friend to me for many years and went so far as to let me care for you Marly and Glen when you were little ones while she would ride with June and Vickie.. What a great memory when she spent the day with me almost two years ago to help me pick out my new puppy from the litter. She was kind, patient and always willing to help.
I still see her right behind me on the tread mill at the gym reading her book when I go . I will miss her ... I love your family all of you so very much.
Sincerely,
Jan Leonard

We remember Julie and the Pahl family with fondness, living as neighbors of theirs for many years. Her passing was a shock. We were even chaparones on her class's senior trip to Lake Shasta. Such a loss for her family.

Mel and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Julie's passing. My sweet Alpha Chi sister and roomie at OSU. I have so many warm and funny memories of her. (Did you know she had a plant she named Mork?) I am thankful to have reconnected with her these past few years via facebook and sorry she didn't get the chance to come say goodbye to Lisa's mom, Lou, as we talked about.
Please know that you are all in my prayers during this difficult time. We are not in town when the service is being held, I would very much have liked to attend.
Much love,
Julie

Julie was a great friend, neighbor, and classmate. Her accomplishments with her dogs, horses, and 4-H were inspiring. I so am glad I was able to reconnect with her in the past couple years, and am now deeply saddened with her passing. To her family and friends I send my most sincere compassion and condolence. I know she will deeply missed.
