February 15, 1915 – September 6, 2015

 

Elizabeth Kaiser - a longtime area resident passed away September 6, 2015, at Pendleton, Oregon, at the age of 100.  At her request no services will be held.  Please sign the online condolence book at www.burnsmortuary.com  Burns Mortuary of Pendleton is in charge of arrangements. 

Elizabeth was born on the family dairy farm at Buckley, Washington.  She was one of eight children.  She was married to Wenzel Kaiser for 60 years.  Elizabeth was a member of the Vashti Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star and the Bethel Congregational Church, both in Washougal, Washington.  Elizabeth was a wonderful hostess and was happiest with family and friends around her.  Her favorite pastime was fishing the Washougal River. 

She is survived by her daughter Pauline & son-in-law Reg Madsen, grandson Rick Madsen (Charvae) of Salem, OR, seven great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, her sisters Viola Lastala of Marysville, WA, and Tessie Twardoskie of Graham, WA, and brother Arthur Svidran of Camas, WA.

She was predeceased by her husband Wenzel Kaiser and grandson Reg W. Madsen.

A special Thank You to her nephew Bill Hamllik of Washougal, WA, for the kindness he showed Elizabeth over the years.
