I have such fond memories of working with Bill at the (then) ESD. I transferred to his department to be his secretary. Bill was such a great boss and easy going, but I always knew he expected the best. He enjoyed his family and had a great work-life balance. When I look back at my 32 years at the ESD, working with him is one of my fondest memories and I am so glad I had that experience. There are only so many supervisors in your life that have an impact and he was one of mine. He was good at giving me thoughtful advice....much like a dad would do. I am so sorry that we have lost such a special person. God Bless Bill.

I learned so much from you as a boss and a friend. I was lucky to be part of the original ESD which you helped to start.
Prayers to your family. You will be missed.

Bill did so many things and so much and all without fanfare or looking for any special recognition; nope, no applause needed. Bill, the excellent team person; Bill, the tireless worker; Bill, the take all things in stride person; Bill, the one who understood those with greater needs than most. Bill, the guy that you knew was a friend. We all are better because you were part of our lives.

With deepest sympathy & condolences to all of Bill's family. How thankful I am to have I had the opportunity to go fishing with Bill at Unity Reservoir in May. Little did I know that it would be Bill's last fishing trip. I had a great time & think Bill enjoyed himself as well. I was amazed at how well Bill seemed that day & the energy he had. I will always remember that special trip & the fun we had. My only regret is that I wish I had met Bill earlier. We had so much in common & I will miss him dearly. So long good buddy until we meet again. I will keep your Model A motor hummin' forever. With fond memories "Hutch"

The world is a smaller and colder place without Bill Rodda. His warmth and unconditional love for his family and friends will be missed by all. He was a wonderful man and I was so lucky to have him as a friend.

Bill was my uncle. I will always remember him as a great family man. A man who loved to hunt and quite a archer. I got to spend my early childhood around him, Ivalee and the kids. Always great memories. Especially the elk hunting trips. It is so hard to believe he is gone. He will be missed. Love to my entire family at Pendleton. Danny

I so much enjoyed our times working together and being outdoors hunting. Our trips to Wyoming to hunt antelope captured on video are still ones I enjoy watching today. Condolences go out to Ida Lee and the rest of the family at this difficult time. Bill was a good man.
