    Richard Lee Qualls of Pendleton, Oregon was born in Goldendale, Washington on May 31, 1937 to parents, Al & Eva Brand Qualls.     He was raised in Toppenish, Washington. He moved to Pendleton in 1956 where he met his wife Beverly Stotlar. They made their home in Pendleton with their two sons Ricky and Randy. His family was his biggest joy. 

    He worked road construction till the mid 70’s, then he went to work at Pendleton Flour Mill until he retired in 1998. He enjoyed, crabbing, whale watching, and fishing in his later years.

    He is survived by his son Randy Qualls, Daughter-in-law Bobbie Qualls, four Grandchildren Kyle Qualls, Christopher Jones, Courtney Qualls all of Hermiston and Keena Qualls of Pendleton; Great grandson Joey Focht, His sister Debra Blair, Brother-in-Law Lawrence Blair of Prescott, Washington; sister Judy Brittan of Selah, Washington, sisters Janeth of Goldendale, Washington, Lorrie of Zillah, Washington; Larry & Shirley Whittler of Illinois.

    He was preceded in death by parents, wife Beverly, Son Ricky, and Sisiter-in-law Erymalene.

Papa, may you rest in peace with the LOVE of your life, Meme and Rick. Thank you for sharing your wisdom, stories and experiences. You have taught your grandson, Kyle so much in life. You will be forever loved and greatly missed. ❤️
