Roland Keith Wampler Sr. passed away Saturday, July 27, 2013, after a
long, hard-fought battle with cancer. He was a retired project
superintendent living in Ukiah, Oregon, where he loved to fish and hunt.

Roland had three children: Julie (L.J.) Callan, Meredith (Kelly) Wiser
and Roland (Madalene) Wampler Jr. He had eight grandchildren: Brett,
Heather, Keith III, Megan, Emma, Michael, Lilly and Jacob.

Roland is survived by his siblings Don, Ben, Willard, Ray, Bobby,
Lila, Eula and Linda, as well as many other family members.

Roland was lovingly cared for by his wife of 39 years, Geraldine
Wampler.

He leaves us with a passion and respect for the outdoors, an
appreciation for music and a legacy of love that we will carry with us
until we meet again. Roland will be greatly missed.

Burns Mortuary in Pendleton. A graveside burial will be held Friday,

Dancing in the Sky

Tell me what does it look like in Heaven?
Is it peaceful? Is it free like they say?
Does the sun shine bright forever?
Have your fear and your pain gone away?
Cause on earth it feels like everything
Good is missing since you left.
And here on earth everything’s different
There’s emptiness.

Oh, I hope you’re dancing in the sky.
I hope you’re singing in the angel’s choir.
And I hope the angels know what they have
I bet it is so nice up in Heaven,
Since you arrived.

So tell me what do you do up in Heaven?
Are your days filled with love and light?
Is there music, is there art and invention?
Tell me are you happy?
Are you more alive?

Cause here on earth it feels like everything
Good is missing since you left.
And here on earth everything’s different
There’s an emptiness

Oh, I hope you’re dancing in the sky.
And I hope you’re singing in the angels’ choir.
I hope the angels know what they have
I bet it is so nice up in Heaven
Since you arrived

I hope you’re dancing in the sky
And I hope you’re singing in the angel’s choir
And I hope the angels know what they have
I bet it is so nice up in Heaven
Since you arrived….since you arrived.
