She was born January 4, 1916, to William and Amelia Elliott at her grandmother’s home close to John Day, Oregon.  She was the youngest of six Elliott children.  She attended country schools in the area and graduated from high school in 1934.  Shortly after graduation she married Joseph John Moura of John Day.  They resided in John Day, where they were ranchers.   The couple had two daughters and raised them in Pendleton, Oregon, after leaving John Day to work in the “city”.

After working hard on the ranch, our mother worked in sales, and as a bookkeeper in various Pendleton businesses.  She cared for our father when he suffered a stroke in 1962.  She also worked at the Umatilla Depot.  She was always a hard worker who cared for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents, all of her siblings, her husband Joe, and husband Lonnie Harrison who died in 1987, and her son-in-law Ramon Fager.

She is survived by daughters Carmen Joy Fager of Pendleton, OR, and Judy Jo (Allen) Crowner of Pasco, WA.  She is also survived by grandchildren: Shari Crowner, Rob (Linda) Crowner, and Tim (Kathy) Crowner, all of Pasco, WA, and Jodi (Jeff) Gray of Ellensburg, WA, as well as her nine great-grandchildren: Zachary, Robin, Jacob, Cody, Chance, Lindsay and Katelin Crowner and Alison and Julie Gray, one great-great-granddaughter, Zoey Crowner, as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to thank her neighbor Don Moore for all his help and care, and Willowbrook Terrace and St. Anthony Hospice for her end-of-life care.

Mom, we love you and wish you a wonderful journey in eternity.
